The thought of getting psychiatric care for children, teens, or adults can be a terrifying process for anyone. There used to be a stigma around receiving care – that someone needed to go to a “mental institution” for kids or adults. But today, that stigma has been replaced as the national conversation about mental health has become supportive and open.
GETTING MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT
Kingwood Pines Hospital has a number of treatment programs that can help patients of all ages. Whether your teen’s mental health condition has declined, or you’re looking for a psychiatric hospital, or need a partial hospitalization program after finishing up an inpatient or residential program elsewhere, we’re eager to help you. Our goal is to demystify the process and make it easy for you or your loved one to receive the kind help best suited for your mental health condition.
