Packing List

ITEMS TO BRING FOR INPATIENTS STAY

  • Journal (no spiral or metal wire)
  • Reading material (please remove any staples in magazines or books)
  • Three days of clothing in disposable bag only (washers and dryers are available)
  • Tobacco products (18 years of age or older only)
  • Make-up (no glass bottles or mirrors in cases)
  • Shoes appropriate for recreation therapy (slip-ons, no laces)
  • Approved medications
  • Money (no more than $20 in bills or quarters)

  • Soap
  • Shampoo
  • Combs
  • Deodorant
  • Lotion

PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • Knives or other sharp objects
  • Clothing with drawstrings
  • Shoelaces or belts
  • Vulgar, offensive or provocative clothing
  • Hats, caps or bandannas
  • Hangers of any type
  • Curling irons, flat irons or hair dryers
  • Suitcases or duffel bags
  • Blankets and pillows
  • Perfume or aftershave (unless in plastic bottles)
  • Bar soap
  • Lighters, matches, flammable liquids or aerosol cans
  • Any items containing alcohol
  • Spray cans
  • Wire or spiral notebooks
  • Glass items
  • Metal cans
  • Sexually explicit materials
  • Electronics
  • Weapons
  • Nail clippers or razors
  • Fingernail polish

ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES

All medications (over-the-counter or prescription) MUST be turned over to admissions upon arrival.
